Fundalyze

Fundalyze is a full-stack SaaS project that explores how complex financial data can be made approachable for everyday investors. Built as the first product under the Versolve studio, it aims to turn fundamental stock analysis into a structured, guided experience rather than a scattered collection of numbers. The overall concept centers on clarity, helping users move from raw company data to a confident investment view without losing the depth that serious analysis requires.

Concept and Inspiration

The inspiration for Fundalyze came from a gap in the retail investing space, where tools tend to either oversimplify decisions or overwhelm users with unfiltered data. The project takes cues from the structured thinking of professional analysts and translates it into a product that feels approachable to a wider audience. Clear hierarchies, a calm visual language, and a focus on reasoning over noise shaped the direction of the product from the first wireframe onwards.

Design Approach

The design approach focused on progressive depth. Users are guided through analysis templates that adapt to their experience level, ranging from Beginner to Advanced, and to the type of business they are evaluating. Every template covers the essentials of fundamental analysis, including financial metrics, competitive positioning, risk assessment, sentiment, technicals, and a final investment recommendation. The interface was built to reduce cognitive load, using consistent patterns so that moving between sections feels predictable and the underlying logic of the analysis stays visible.

User Experience Focus

From a UX perspective, the priority was making complex data genuinely usable. Forms, inputs, and summaries were designed to guide users through a full analysis without losing their place, and conditional logic ensures that only relevant questions appear for a given type of company. Authentication, profile management, and future collaboration features are being built on top of Supabase, giving the product a foundation that can grow with its users. The experience is intentionally paced, encouraging considered decision making rather than impulsive reactions to market noise.

Technical execution

On the engineering side, Fundalyze is built as a modern full-stack application using Next.js for the frontend and Supabase for authentication and the database layer, styled with Tailwind CSS. The data model is designed around profiles, companies, and analysis templates, with room to expand into social features and additional product surfaces. Development is handled solo, with a phased MVP plan that keeps scope tight while leaving the architecture open to future product.

Current status

Fundalyze is currently in active development as an MVP. Core flows around authentication, company data, and the first analysis templates are in place, with the remaining template tiers and social features on the roadmap. The project reflects an ongoing effort to build a thoughtful, full-stack product that respects both the intelligence of its users and the complexity of the problem it addresses.
